Good morning everyone! I wanted to share my new fall fitness plan with you now that we have about a month left of summer. And thank you so much for following my Summer Fitness Plan Series! I appreciate all the SnapChat (beautifullyseas) messages you sent me! I’m happy to be back to working out almost everyday, however I realized yesterday that walking the same day as BBG may be too much for me to do since I’m exhausted when I get home from school. With that being said, BBG is the best workout routine I’ve ever tried! It really does change the shape of your body when you workout consistently and use Kayla Itsines guideline. Sometimes, it’s hard for me to keep up with the schedule, however I make sure to do every workout for the week.

The one thing I need to work on are my eating habits. Before my summer beach trip, I knew I had to wear a bikini, so I ate great for four weeks prior to the trip. Eating healthy and completing the BBG workouts, plus the walking made a HUGE difference! I wasn’t bloated and my stomach was flatter and more toned. Once I came home I started eating chips and salsa again and there went my flatter stomach. So you see, it’s all about what we eat and how much we exercise.

The BBG workouts tones and strengthens muscles in just the right places. It’s incredible how Kayla created an amazing program that really works. So this weekend, I’m going to make better choices in what I eat and that means staying away from bread, cookies, icecream, and candy. And no chips and salsa.

One of the benefits of doing all the BBG lunges and squats are toned and more defined legs. I noticed that my thighs are smaller and I’d love to see the cellulite disappear. 

And by the way, the track shorts I’m wearing were one of my #NSALE purchases and I’m thrilled I bought them! They’re so comfortable, easy to wear, and available in three colors. I’m wearing a small. 

Here’s my Fall Fitness Plan as outlined by Kayla Beach Bikini Guide (#BBG)
  • MONDAY – Legs and Cardio (Four 7 minute sessions = 28 minutes)
  • TUESDAY – Walk for at least 35 minutes (I usually walk for an hour)
  • WEDNESDAY – Arms and Abs (Four 7 minute sessions + 28 minutes)
  • THURSDAY – Walk for at least 35 minutes (I usually walk for an hour)
  • FRIDAY – Full Body Workout (Four 7 minute sessions = 28 minutes)
  • SATURDAY –  Walk for at least 35 minutes (I usually walk for an hour)
  • SUNDAY – Rest and enjoy the day off!

Wearing my new workout clothes motivates me to exercise, so I wanted to share some new styles that I really love for fall. The Adidas sneakers (& here) are what Kayla wears often and they look so cute on. I just ordered a pair! It says they run small, so I ordered a size 9, because I want them a little bigger. My shoe size is an 8.

    You've really stuck with your commitment and it shows! I enjoy all of your fitness snaps because they are fun to watch and are super motivating. I have been very active this summer too and I plan to maintain as much as possible because it feels so good. We recently went on a beach vacation, and for the three weeks prior, I was very disciplined about what I ate and I think overall being mindful of my calories is the biggest driver in my weight. Staying fit by exercising is critically important, but as I get older, watching what I eat has a bigger impact on me in terms of weight around my tummy and hips. Staying away from salty foods (majorly important), sugar, and reducing my portions at dinner (another major impact) made a world of difference. My clothes are comfortable and roomy which makes me feel so much better!!

      Thank you so much Mary-Irene! I'm trying! It's not easy when I like to eat junk food, however when I see results it makes working out so worthwhile. I'm so happy you mentioned staying away from salty food, because that's exactly what I need to do. Keep up the great work! XO
