Hi friends! Many of you expressed that you enjoy learning what I eat while on the Faster Way to Fat Loss program. I love sharing all things coastal living inspired including fashion, travel, beauty, and home design; however making it a priority to live a healthier lifestyle was on my list of goals for 2019. I’ve never felt more inspired than I do now and I credit that to how I’m feeling. I’m not dragging around extra weight that was literally dragging me down physically and emotionally. My sugar levels were all over the place, thanks to my poor eating habits and now I feel energized and excited. God is so good and I thank him for opportunities like this and for FWTFL coaches who have been supportive on this journey. I count it all joy!
I’m thrilled with the results already! I’m down almost 13 pounds (always thinking the cup is half full), and may need to start buying new clothes soon (yay! you know I love this). Today, I thought you may be interested in seeing my recent Trader Joe’s haul, including what I love and what I’ll pass on next time I go shopping there. It’s been fun being creative with meals and coming up with ideas on what to eat. If you sign up with the Faster Way to Fat Loss, they do give you some tips and recipes on what you can make as well. You are free to make whatever you want, as long as you follow the guidelines on tracking your macros.
MY TRADER JOE’S HAUL FOR #FWTFL
I was inspired by another woman using FWTFL to buy the Sriracha Ranch Dressing and seasonings below and they are so good! A little drizzle of the Sriracha Ranch Dressing gives my meals the perfect pop! I’ve tried the Salsa Verde before and love it!
I went to the freezer section at Trader Joe’s and picked up these goodies!
cauliflower pizza crust (It was good, but I’m not sure I’ll buy it again)
cauliflower rice (I haven’t tried this yet)
cauliflower gnocchi (I haven’t tried this yet)
brown rice (so yummy)
Here’s one of my favorite dishes to make!
Fajita Style Chicken Bowl
fajita style roasted chicken with onions and bell peppers
Trader Joes Brown Rice
Sriracha Ranch Dressing
Salsa Verde
a little bit of guacamole
This meal is one of my favorites, because it quenches my Mexican food craving. My husband roasts the chicken, shreds it, then sautés it with onions and bell peppers. Add a tablespoon or more of guacamole, salsa verde, and a drizzle of Sriracha Ranch and you’re good to go! Delicious!
What to buy in the produce section of Trader Joes to make tropical green smoothies!
baby kale
baby spinach
bananas
mango chunks
pineapple tidbits
coconut milk
This smoothie is so refreshing! You can get the full recipe here and be sure to let me know if you try it! I love hearing what you think!
I hope you enjoyed learning about my Trader Joe’s Haul for FWTFL! Registration is open for the next round that begins on March 11th. If you register through my link, I will receive a commission and will be happy to help you on your journey! After you register, you’ll be assigned to a private Facebook group with FWTFL coaches who are there to help you along the way. They are fantastic and super helpful! You can also reach out to me anytime to share ideas.
People ask me why would I sign up for a second round if I already know the program? First of all, I still would like to lose another 10 pounds and get stronger. I really didn’t follow all the exercises in the first round, which I should have. Working hard to get my body to a level that it’s never been before is exciting to me at age 48! This community will help me make this happen, so I’m sticking with it and may join VIP after my second round. Plus, the perks of feeling great in my resort wear styles sounds pretty good to me!

I signed up for FWTFL through your link and started prep week Feb 11th. I would love if you would share your meal plans etc. I haven’t seen much of that yet from my coach. So I am a little disappointed in that. I am making my meal plan this week. Thanks for sharing the Fajita Bowl.

Hi Judy! Yes, I will do that! I’ve been sharing them on Instagram stories, however I have all the photos saved and will create a post this week for you. That’s sweet of you to sign up under me. Thank you! Did you get the e-book sent to you? It has some ideas in their as well.

I did not have good luck with that gnocchi but I heard the trick is to not boil it!
The everything bagel seasoning is SO GOOD!!

Desiree,
I’m just starting the FWTFL this week, and am trying to figure out what to eat! Your fajita style chicken bowl looks delicious; does your husband season the chicken before or after roasting it?
Thank you for sharing your experience and your food and recipes!
