Good morning friends! Happy Monday! I returned home from my trip to the Faster Way to Fat Loss Conference in Orlando Saturday evening and have so much to share with you. It was such a beautiful couple of days getting to meet so many women who are all loving the Faster Way lifestyle. I heard testimony after testimony from women who were diagnosed with some diseases that the doctors said they would have forever. However, after these women tried the FWTFL program the diseases went away. I also heard from many women who had diabetes and now no longer have it because of their FWTFL lifestyle.
Another woman shared that her thyroid numbers were over 900 and now are at 500. I mean this is so real. This lifestyle works and I can attest to it as well. I suffered from daily bloating and pain in my stomach from the food I was consuming and now I don’t have those symptoms anymore while on the Faster Way. I also felt low energy before starting the Faster Way and now just by consuming whole food nutrition, carb cycling, and exercise- my energy is up like never before!
FEELING FRUSTRATED
The main and real reason I registered for the Faster Way to Fat Loss program wasn’t because I wanted to lose weight. I registered because I was frustrated. I was feeling frustrated that my clothes were so tight. And I hated feeling uncomfortable in my clothes day in and day out. Even my pajamas were tight. I got to the point that nothing else worked and I refused to buy bigger clothes. I saw how this program was working for other women and I thought, hey why not give it a shot and see what happens.
What happened was within the first few days I wasn’t bloated anymore and my clothes were not as tight. My first week on FWTFL happen to be my birthday week and I lost 5 pounds, which I believe was inflammation. My stomach was not bloated for the first time in a long time and by the third day of starting this program I was hooked. I could feel the difference and I had energy! All I can say was, Thank you Jesus! I prayed for a long time for the Lord to help me get my eating habits under control and I feel this program was an answered prayer.
DETERMINED
One thing I want to mention is that I was determined to make this work. I didn’t want to be sick and tired of how I looked in my clothes anymore. I envisioned a healthier, thinner Desiree and that motivated me. So I followed the program as closely as I could by incorporating the program’s intermittent fasting, carb cycling, macro tracking, and exercise. Actually, I barely exercised the first round and was super successful in losing fat. That shows how important it is to watch what you’re consuming.
NEW GOAL
Now, I’m at a new point. A new goal has been set and I’m motivated once again to make it work. I’m turning 49 the first week of January and this is the year of shaping my body and toning up. I lost the weight I wanted to in 2019 and now I’m focus on something new and sharing my journey. I love setting new goals and sharing them with you. I’m also focused on preventing disease and making healthier choices every day.
I love that this program always says progress over perfection. Trust me I was not perfect in following this program before and I was still successful. There’s no condemnation if one day you have more carbs than you’re supposed to. You just pick yourself up and start new the next meal or the next day. I spent most of the 2010’s feeling blah about my weight and now I’m heading into 2020 with a brand new outlook. No more feeling blah! I was able to reach my goal in 2019, which is such a blessing.
