Living well begins at home and to kick off the new year I’m sharing my home design favorites for 2020 from Serena & Lily. After living in my home for about fifteen years, I thought it was time to update my home with new decor and furniture pieces that are casual, coastal, and relaxed. This South Seas Coffee Table was the perfect addition to my bright and airy living room. I added shells from my collection to style it for the new year and love that the bottom shelf has plenty of space for curated items such as, books and photo albums.

Another furniture piece that we’re loving from Serena & Lily are these Shore dining chairs that are being used in our living room right now. I’m going to use them in my dining room as soon as we purchase a kitchen table. I was on the fence for so long over which dining table to buy. I still don’t have one in mind for sure, but I’ll let you know as soon as I decide. However, I did order these sunwashed Riviera side chairs for the dining table as well and look forward to it all coming together in 2020.

HI!! I was wondering if you could tell me where your roll up shades are from and possible the color? I am in the process of buying some but the possibilities are endless and I am getting overwhelmed. Do you like yours?
Hi Kelly! I bought them at Home Depot about 15 years ago. They held up pretty well. I like them, however they do not offer privacy. I’m looking to replace them this year.

Hi Alissa, these shades are from Home Depot and we bought them when we bought and renovated our home about 15 years ago. They do not offer privacy, unless you use them with drapes. I love the way they look though! They were super easy to install.
Where did you purchase your light blue curtains? They are lovely.
